This is a very old post but I must still post all my meals in the past… I am determined.
We went to Ondal for JL’s bday. Then to Hamburger Mary’s (chili fries) and Jo’s house for the cake and Jack in the Box.
Ondal is always a pleasure. There are two locations but Ondal 2 is the best of the best. Spicy crab stew with veggies and fried rice after. They also do sujaebi which is a hand torn rice flour thingy. I don’t know what it is exactly but it’s the same thing as kalgooksoo noodles but it is not in noodle form. It is a patch, ripped into pieces by hand and thrown in the hot pot. Very delicious.
This location is off of Washington Blvd. Please be sure to try!
He did it! He made me an egg salad sandwich! It’s been so long, I ended up eating two! I forgot I put habaneros in it last time. We only had serranos so we used that. I used habanero salsa for the extra kick.
I made my spaghetti for Bear. I sliced a lot of jalapeños and serranos but once it was time to add it, I only used half. It was still too spicy for Bear. Oops!
I finished it. I need more. If you haven’t tried, please buy at your local market!
In case you were wondering…
I can’t believe I forgot to get jalapenos! Luckily I had Serrano! Sorry Bear, it was a bit spicier! I usually like jalapenos because it’s bigger but spicier is better too, I guess.
I didn’t have any because I had my leftovers from Don Felix. 😛
Don’t forget! Onions after it simmers, turn off the stove and let it sit while the rice cooks.
My sauce is best with white rice! (The Korean kind).
I hate cooking this because it always 튀겨s (splash, splatter, pop, English word does not reference it exactly), I shriek each time. This time it landed on my feet! AND, I always seem to be wearing a white top when I’m cooking things that 튀겨.
I saw the commercial yesterday for the Jack in the Box Sriracha Burger and I am DYING to try!!
I had an idea right before starting this post… what if I review new items for fast food menus!
Especially all the spicy ones???
Give me your thoughts, please!?
Who wants to try this? I’d ask for it without bacon. Not really a fan of bacon, unless it’s from Fresh Market.
He had ramen last night…
I took a few bites. I told him I needed to taste test. 😛
I can never resist ramen when it’s in front of my face.
I wonder how it will taste if I mixed his favorite and my favorite together.
I shall try next time. 🙂
Nongshim Shin Noodle Ramyun Gourmet Spicy
He’s more Korean than me, sometimes!
I made him my favorite ramen, 너구리, Nongshim Neoguri Spicy Seafood Noodle Ramyun.
Funny how Koreans spell ‘ramyun’ and how most people know it as ‘ramen’,
I gave it to him like a Korean. With rice at the end and an egg, of course.
I did forget the white vinegar. A cap full is always so tasty! 🙂
As you can see, we just went grocery shopping, so we have lots of new banchan!
