#Breakfast


I love coming to Kansas because Bear’s mom makes the best food. And also because I sleep in and my days don’t include plans. But mostly because of her breakfasts. This breakfast was homemade tortilla, sausage and eggs with sharp cheddar cheese burrito. I added the sliced jalapenos since I like it extra spicy and crunchy. Always important to add the texture element when eating. Bear used to make me breakfast burritos, not anymore. I’m lucky if he makes me lunch. ๐Ÿ˜›

Snap Recipe


My husband bought a rotisserie chicken from the market. I bought a whole uncooked chicken to cook in the crock pot because I find the precooked chickens to have a lot of sodium.

We had leftovers, lots of it because he ATE MY CHICKEN. He made me a wrap with his sodium filled one, one night.

Flour tortilla, rotisserie chicken, white rice, mayo, tomatoes and onions. I didn’t know what to expect because he used the Korean rice, but it was so tasty!

The mayo was a bit weird too but all together it was kind of amazing.

The next night, I made one for myself. It was not as good as when he made it, but still appetizing. So if you are interested, find the recipe below! On my tongue! Ha!

Breakfast Prep by Bear… #burritos


Everyone loves his burritos. Well, his breakfast burritos. Only I love his burrito, cause no one else can have it…

1. Chorizo in the pan.

2. Beat eggs and add to chorizo.

3. Shred cheese.

Then I stopped paying attention. Sorry.

I’m not sure if he adds the cheese on the pan, then onto the tortilla to wrap or places the shredded cheese on the tortilla and then adds the steaming mix on top…

I wanted to keep all the jars of the salsas that I’ve finished but Bear threw it all away. I wanted to see how many jars I would have of the ghost pepper salsa! I know I probably cleared about six already. I have two left in my cabinet because I like to stock up. Thanks Bear for grabbing it at the store for me!

The breakfast burrito is Bear’s dish. Chorizo, cheese and egg. He prepares it in the evening and wraps it up individually and stores them in the fridge. Every morning, he unwraps it from the foil and wraps it back up in a paper towel and puts it in the microwave for 1 minute and 10 seconds (for me, and 50 seconds for him). I like my food piping hot so that’s why mine is longer.

It’s delicious. Chorizo is my favorite, I don’t like the regular sausage.
