Tagged along with Catalina to a Lancome event at Hotel Bel Air.
I had a champagne cocktail with vodka and pomegranate in it. It was the best drink I’ve ever had. Now my drink is bubbly + a shot of vodka.
We headed to Delilah after… it was packed!
If you’ve never tried this place, you’re missing out! This place has the best prepped meals. They do not deliver but they do have multiple locations.
This is my favorite breakfast item. My daily ground turkey meal my husband has been prepping for me was a copy of their lunch. It was so good I had him recreate it for me.
If were still living in West Hollywood, I would want to eat here at least once every week. What’s special about Taco Love is that there are no other places like this in Los Angeles. A taco place that isn’t trying to be super authentic and or super American. This place serves delicious tacos, burritos and all else. A bit of a San Diego vibe with the fries in the burritos, but it’s special, very special.
My favorite is the grilled green onions. Not a lot of places serve this. It’s an authentic Mexican side thingy that the real Mexicans do when their big Mexican families get together for a bbq. How do I know? I know a lot of Mexicans and I’ve been to a handful of bbqs hosted by Mexicans. I grew up in Downey, hello!?
What they do is, they lather oil, salt, pepper and lime juice on the green onions (as a whole) and stick it on the grill. Give it some time and it’ll be the best thing you’ve put in your mouth.
Now get your ass to West Hollywood and try their asada burrito and don’t forget to get a side of the grilled green onions!

Also just discovered that they have a Venice location through Yelp
I’m mad at myself for going to In N Out after Shake Shack had opened, BUT in my defense, I didn’t want to wait in line in WEHO for the burger. This is of course, before my visit to SS last Friday. 🙂 Hands down, no matter when where and how, Shake Shack is my ultimate favorite burger. No $40 burger will beat Shake Shack in my eyes. Everything about SS is perfect. Bun, meat, veggies, fries… I believe a burger should always be All American, with all the fixings that are expected when you go to a barbecue at a friend’s place or in the backyard of a cowboy’s home! 🙂 That’s why I love Five Guys so much too.
I came to the office and had a sudden urge to want to eat Shake Shack. I felt it in the air… the line wouldn’t be long and I would be able to whiz in and whiz out. I asked everyone in the office if they would want anything… I was willing to pick up some food for those that didn’t want to leave to eat. I grabbed two people from my team and we were off. The traffic there was horrible on SM Blvd., but when we pulled into the parking lot, the line was short! Just outside of their front doors. We even found a parking spot right in front where it didn’t look like a spot so everyone missed it! Right next to the handicap spot right in front! It was our lucky day! We ordered a burger each and a chicken burger to share. I of course ate it all, half of my chicken burger and all of my burger with cheese fries and a small coke. It was freaking delicious! I doubt I’ll need to go back to Shake Shack in LA. I plan to go when I’m in NY for MDW though, as always!
My favorite pizza of all time. Why? Because they use motherfucking serranos!!!! Not jalapenos, SERRANOS! Spicier pepper and it’s fresh, not pickled. I love Hawaiian pizzas and this one is special because they don’t use tomato sauce. They use a BBQ sauce and it’s thin crust. This is my favorite pizza place in Los Angeles.
